In a surprising partnership that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous changes echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret sect.

The questline focuses on "bizarre trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana in addition to several items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
