Loyal followers of Ariana Grande are calling for that a person who breached a barricade and touched the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A viral video reveals the individual from Australia bypassing camera operators and charging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a promenade flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being detained", though official papers revealed that he was set to appear on the following morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed includes recordings of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney concert in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last year.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is obviously a legal violation," wrote an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user wrote.

Fans Express Concern Over Grande's Safety

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another message on Instagram.

Several fans also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals requested social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Event Details

In videos circulating online, Grande looked shocked when she was approached by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of Singapore fans had waited to see the performers of Wicked

Hundreds of attendees had assembled in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had queued for as long as many hours before it began.

The film, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-part adaptation of the popular theatrical musical Wicked, which centers on the surprising friendship between two distinct characters.

The production itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and earned 10 Oscar nominations, securing several for best costume and artistic direction.
