It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

This is the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a team that has won it all.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It is hard for their batsmen to maintain a record if not afforded the chance.

Ultimately, the outcome of Australia allowing 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy receiving a platform to produce her newest gem.

Originally famous as the 19-year-old niece of famous ex Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she debuted in 2010 after her country failed to win either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups held the previous year and has experienced everything through 15 championship-filled years since.

A T20 World Cup win came three months after her first appearance and seven international trophies have resulted from 10 attempts across formats.

The determined wicketkeeper was in attendance in Derby in 2017 when a semi-final setback by India temporarily stopped the run of success.

That loss "motivated us to reconsider our benchmarks," Healy stated recently.

At the next 50-over World Cup in New Zealand, Healy hit 170 against England in the title decider and was awarded tournament MVP. She made sure her country would not fail again.

Whether this newest brilliant performance surpassed that earlier display is debatable.

Some will argue the reasoning behind the pressure of a final. Others can counter with the test that comes when confronting a historic chase and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's definite is this hundred was much more difficult to see coming.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 came as she led the batting statistics, but this knock followed six innings in India since the start of last month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've observed me in the nets, it was a challenging time because it seemed my form was missing whatsoever," said Healy.

"But once you take the field, your competitive nature take over and you just lock into the competition."

Healy's competitiveness has always been her great strength - and an irreplaceable characteristic in succeeding famous previous leader Meg Lanning.

She was tormented by India's rising star Kranti Gaud in last month's ODI series, out to the 22-year-old seamer in every game, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's inspiration.

"The possibility to go out there and face the challenge with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

By the time she was dismissed Australia required another 66 at run per delivery - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if necessary, we know we can do it."

These statements will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this championship should hear.

In recent days a sense they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this success succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.
